At North Texas Church of Christ, we warmly welcome new members to our community of believers. Each week, we gather for worship, Bible study, and fellowship, focusing on living out Jesus' teachings. Our acappella singing, prayer, and meaningful messages provide an uplifting space for all to grow in faith,
Come as you are! At North Texas, you’ll find everything from jeans and polos to full suits and ties. Most folks wear business casual—like slacks and a button-down or a skirt and blouse. Whatever your style, you’re always welcome here.
Sunday worship starts at 10:30 AM and usually lasts about an hour. We typically open with a song or two, followed by a welcoming message with scripture and prayer. After a few more songs, we share communion (Lord’s Supper—see below) and then a sermon from the Bible. We end with a song and a Shepherds message. Sometimes, we like to mix up the order, but the core elements remain the same.
One unique aspect is our a cappella singing—no instruments! One of our worship leaders stands at the front and guides us through various hymns.
We value youth and children here at North Texas, and you’ll often see our young people leading prayers or reading scripture during services. Our youth minister, Jason Miller (jason@ntxcoc.com), organizes various activities and Bible studies to help them grow in faith.
Children’s Classes
We offer classes for children from Cradle Roll through High School, using age-appropriate, Bible-focused materials. Our dedicated teachers strive to guide your child in learning God’s Word and applying it to daily life. For everyone’s safety, all teachers have completed background checks.
Yes! We have Bible Classes for all ages from 9:30–10:15. Sometimes they’re topical, and sometimes we focus on a particular book of the Bible. For more details, check out our Class page.
Adult Classes
We offer several adult classes, covering both topical subjects and specific books of the Bible. If you can’t make it in person, the auditorium class is live-streamed to keep you connected.
Communion is a time in our weekly service to remember how Jesus Christ willingly sacrificed Himself on the cross to save us from our sins. Before He was arrested, Jesus shared a final meal with His closest followers, passing around bread and wine to symbolize His body and blood, given to everyone. We continue that practice each week by sharing crackers and small cups of grape juice. You’re welcome to join in or simply observe—whatever makes you most comfortable.
